Rejection hurts. You don’t feel good as someone refused to believe on something you put forward. Rejection affects confidence, intelligence, performance and emotions. It makes you comprehend that you are not a part of something and makes you upset. Rejection can sometimes be challenging, it can affect us in a positive or negative way. If we are too much into then we try to change ourselves, somebody takes revenge and considers it as an ego issue, someone permits it to affect the life for a long period.

There are certain stages in life where we face rejection; in childhood, at work, for a proposal, in love etc. Actually, we don’t get everything in our lives; we might get rejected because of lack of something, if it’s the case then try to overcome the issue. For example, if you are a writer and if your article is not published it does not mean that you are not able to write, it means you need to work little bit more on it to make it effective. If you get rejection in love, it does not mean you should feel bad. It means that the other person didn’t feel the attraction. Someone might repel you because of jealousy or a personal conflict in this case you need to analyze if you are right then stay whoever you are.

No one is perfect and neither can be. You can’t produce your 100% in everything and you cannot be nice all the time by accepting things which are intolerable for you. Rejection to people, offers and ideas should be done in a polite manner so that no one gets hurt and your relationship with the others should not be affected, which could be constructive in your future.

Rejection should always be taken positively, make efforts to know the reason of denial. If you are found mortified then work on yourself to improve. Sometimes new things are discovered just because of rejection. If you search over the Internet you will find many famous personalities who got failed at first. If you talk about Walt Disney you will find out the fact that he was fired by a newspaper editor because he lacked imagination and had no good ideas. Rejection motivated him to move ahead and he did it successfully. Thomas Edison was fired from his first two jobs as his work was not considered effective. But that didn’t stop him and later the world saw his useful invention of bulb. There are many other such famous personalities. All these personalities later on were renowned because of their acceptable and remarkable achievements.

So we can say that to get on the top of the world, it’s not necessary that success will always be achieved at first. Rejection sometimes brings creativity and takes you to the success. I would suggest that whenever you face failure, just recall these personalities, your motivation level will automatically rise. Try to accept rejection as a part of life and challenge that can take you to a progressive direction; don’t allow it to take your life or happiness from it.

We all learn lessons in life. Some stick, some don’t. I have always learned more from rejection and failure than from acceptance and success.
